Science Fair Judges Needed
Our 7th grade and 8th grade science students have been working on their projects since September, seeking approval, gathering data, and testing their theories. As we are approaching January we are hopeful that you will want to share in this experience with the students by serving as a Science Fair Judge. Judging is easy! Previous experience as a judge is not needed, however, judges should have an interest in science. Judges will hear student presentations, ask questions, and evaluate student work using a provided rubric. The time commitment will be from 8:00am – approximately 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 24th. Refreshments will be provided! We are hopeful to recruit 20 volunteer judges (or more) from the community and we would be honored to have you share in this experience with our students here at St Francis of Assisi School. If you are interested in volunteering as a Science Fair Judge, please sign up at http://bit.ly/3jAVvyj or if you have additional questions that haven’t been addressed, please contact Mr. Robert Rangel at rrangel@csdo.org The SFA 2023 Science Fair will be held on Tuesday, January 24 and we are in need of volunteer judges!
