CYO basketball registration closes on Monday, 8/31. The season runs from October to March and is open to both girls and boys in grades 2–8. WHAT IS WHEEL-A-THON? Wheel-a-Thon (WAT) is SFA’s premier fundraiser, supporting educational field trips that give students opportunities to explore, discover, and learn beyond the classroom. From science museums to historical landmarks and local farms, WAT helps make these experiences possible. HOW TO CONTRIBUTE Students are encouraged to collect pledges from family, friends, neighbors, and relatives near and far in support of their ride! All donations are tax-deductible and directly fund student enrichment programs and experiences. Watch for an email from 99Pledges with a personalized link to your student’s fundraising page. Families play an important role in making SFA the welcoming, connected community that it is. Joining CYO Cross Country is a fantastic way to build endurance, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just curious, come out and give it a try—you might discover a new passion! On the first day of school, there will be open parking in the schoolyard, and families are welcome to walk students to their classrooms. Please use extra caution when entering and exiting the parking lot, as there will be increased pedestrian traffic. Morning carline will begin on Thursday, August 20, and will be available Thursday and Friday morning. Dismissals on both days will be park and pick up at your child’s classroom. SFA’s uniform is an important part of our school identity, and all students are expected to follow the dress code beginning on the first day of school. Please review the School Handbook for complete uniform guidelines and requirements. Only SFA-logo outerwear, including sweatshirts, jackets and fleece, may be worn at school. On colder days, students may wear a weather-appropriate jacket over their SFA outerwear while outside, but non-SFA jackets may not be worn in classrooms or to church. Keeping our students, staff and volunteers safe is a shared priority. Please use the designated gates when entering and exiting campus, and remember that all gates and classroom doors remain locked during school hours. If you need to drop off an item for your child during the school day, please ring the bell for entry and follow the black line directly to the school office to check in with staff. For the safety of our students and to minimize classroom disruptions, parents and visitors should not go directly to classrooms during school hours.
