Wheel-A-Thon Information

Get Ready for the 2024 Wheel-a-Thon on Friday, September 27!

We’re geared up for this year's Wheel-a-Thon (WAT), and we hope you’re excited too!

What Is Wheel-a-Thon

Wheel-a-Thon is one of SFA's greatest fundraising efforts of the year!  It is the ONLY event that raises money to finance educational field trips and enrichment.  Examples of previous field trips include: the pumpkin patch, Exploratorium, exploring California's gold rush, historical walk throughs, Children's Discovery Museum, Walnut Creek Performing Arts Center, Macedo Ranch, the Oakland Zoo, and much, much more.

Plan to pickup your 2024 Wheel-a-Thon Packet and permission form at the Falcon Fair on the first day of school - August 14th.

How To Contribute

Students are encouraged to seek contributions for riding.  Contributors can be family members, out of town relatives, and friends!  Contributors promise to make a tax-deductible donation that directly supports the students.

Stay tuned for an online donation link.

Important Notes

There will be a participation fee of $50 per rider which includes a WAT t-shirt, lunch, and entry to the event.

The morning of the WAT will be a park and drop-off.  Parents will unload and walk bikes to the classroom with students.  Please label bikes and helmets with the rider's name.)  After school will be a park-and-pickup and parents can help retrieve bikes from the classroom areas.

Every rider must wear a helmet!

No "Big Wheels", striders, or scooters allowed.

As a safety precaution for all students, please make sure your child is proficient at riding the bike they plan to use at the WAT.

All children must have a parent or guardian's signature on the permission form to ride.  Permission form coming soon!  We cannot allow anyone without a signature to ride, due to liability concerns.

Rider Times

Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to join us on campus and cheer on the riders during the Wheel-a-Thon.
