“We make a living by what we get, BUT we make a life by what we give”
~Winston Churchill~
Dear Families,
Please join the Saint Francis of Assisi School Board, Father Ismael and myself in helping to build our Scholarship Fund by participating in Giving Tuesday.
*Every gift received will benefit tuition assistance for those who may need the extra help. Your support is so very appreciated.
What is Giving Tuesday?
First started in 2012, Giving Tuesday is a special day each year meant to unofficially “open the giving season.” Giving Tuesday started as a movement to fundamentally shift the sentiment around this time of year, from buying to giving – from selfish to selfless – from focusing on the economy to focusing on the community.
It is more important now than ever to support our own school community during these difficult times. The Scholarship Fund goes directly back to our families who are in need of assistance so we can ensure they still have access to a quality, faith based education at St. Francis of Assisi School.
Please know of our deepest gratitude to each of you for your loving, courageous and extraordinary ministry to our Catholic school community. While our journey remains, navigating through this extraordinary year, our perseverance and fellowship are more resolute than ever.
Grounded in Grace,
Father Ismael, Pastor
Cathy VanderKlugt, Principal
Lesley Schooler, School Board President
“Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving in which we invite you to celebrate the holiday season by giving back and creating change in our school community. Please join me and the rest of the St. Francis of Assisi School Board in donating to our Scholarship Fund. Together we can make a difference.”
