Falcon Newsletter 9-1-21
Happy first day of September! For many, the month of September signals the end of summer, the beginning of autumn, and the start of a new school year. Our students are settling in and our teachers and Learning Support Assistants are all busy preparing and celebrating our return to school!
In the next week, we will be sending home raffle tickets for the annual Parish Festival. Here is a message from our Parish regarding the festival: “Due to the required protocols for large group festival gatherings it has been determined that SFA will not be having its annual Parish Festival. We will continue to celebrate our patron saint, St. Francis, on the weekend of Oct. 3, with the Mass liturgy, and will have the drawing for the raffle.
We are reaching out to you to continue to support the sale of the raffle tickets. As in the past each school family has been asked to purchase at least one book of raffle tickets ($20).” I am asking that you support the parish in this service and purchase the book of raffle tickets that is sent home to you. Please send in the ticket stubs along with your payment (checks made payable to Saint Francis of Assisi Parish). If you would like to purchase more than one book, we are offering service hours for those who do so. For every $25.00 spent, after the first book, we will give one hour of service. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of our Saint Francis of Assisi Parish.
