Principal’s Message
What a great first week! So many events to celebrate: Student Council leading us in our first prayer service, Father Ismael blessing our classrooms, new teachers, and students, the Ice Cream Social, the Host Family Welcome BBQ, and seeing each of the students embraced by their teachers. Everyone has started to settle in, and great learning is taking place!
Thank you to Garrett Shelley, Catherine Morimoto, and Karen McMillan for all their hard work to get the Saint Francis Website up and running with the most current events, forms, and calendars.
This week we are excited to send home the updated version of the Family/Student Handbook. Please take time to read over it with your child/ren and discuss and review the expectations before signing the acknowledgement page which will be sent home in the Wednesday envelope.
Our Physical Education teacher is looking for some support with the Motor Perception classes. If you are interested, please contact him directly at [email protected].
I am looking forward to seeing you all this evening at Back to School Night. Grades TK-5 will begin in the classrooms at 6:00-6:45. We will all come together for prayer and introductions beginning at 7:00 in the church. Junior High will meet from 7:45-9:00 in their classrooms.

“All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”-PSALM 139:16
You have an amazing story. How can you be sure? Because it was written by Yahweh, the Lord God Himself, before you were even born. He knew every twist of the plot and every unexpected turn. Every joy, every sorrow. Wherever you go, He has already been. He will walk before you and with you as Lord and Guide and Friend. And when you entrust your story to Him, He promises you the best of endings-a happily heavenly, forever after.
Nut-Free School
Due to the severe, sudden, and life-threatening nature of peanut & tree nut allergies, St. Francis of Assisi School is a NUT-FREE school environment. No peanuts or nuts are allowed on campus at any time nor at any school-sponsored events- on or off campus. Thank you for supporting our proactive policy.
