Falcon Newsletter 11-3-21
Thank you to all of the parents who helped to put together the Halloween Festival! Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The Trunk or Treat was a blast and the games and goodies kept everyone smiling! Thank you to our 8th-grade parents and students who put together the best haunted house around- it was “spooktacular!”
November is such a wonderful time for our school community. Last week, our 8th graders lead the entire school in a Saints Presentation. The students were assigned a specific saint, dressed like them, and then presented to students as they walked around the quad area. It was a great learning experience for everyone. On Monday, we went to mass in celebration of All Saints Day! Our kindergarteners processed in with Father Rafal, dressed as saints, and took part in the Homily presenting to the student body and community at large.
We are very excited to share with our SFA community that we have been able to purchase a number of Chromebooks and iPads for our school. All students in grades K-8 now have access to technology in their classroom. Grades 4 through 8 are completely one-to-one with a Chromebook available for every student to use while at school.
This beautiful quote by Saint Mother Teresa reminds us of how blessed we are to be Catholic Christians, “Joy is prayer; joy is strength, joy is love. God loves a cheerful giver. The best way we can show our gratitude to God and His people is to accept everything with joy.”
“Stronger Together,”
