Principal’s Message
Welcome to the Second Trimester! This week is conference week, and students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Conference time allows you  to spend quality time with your child and teacher in partnership. Take this time to reflect on the year so far, and all that has been learned. Set goals together and share in the good news!  Students should attend their conferences if they are in grades 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8.   This is such a beautiful way to step into Thanksgiving. We are so blessed to have a faculty and staff that is dedicated to each and every one of their students. The teachers are grateful for you and the journey they are on with your family.
Please remember that our Warm Coat drive ends on Friday, November 22. If you are able to share a warm coat, please do so by Friday. Don’t forget your turkey on Friday as well! Our SFA cheer and dance squad will be on campus beginning at 7:15 to take your donations. These turkeys will be sent to the Monument Crisis Center. Thank you for modeling the Student Learning Expectations of being faith-filled, and globally responsible citizens.
There is no school next week, and the Faculty and Staff wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. School will resume on Monday, December 2.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 7, for the Pearl Harbor Veterans Day. Be sure to check your Wednesday envelope for all the details.
TK – On Friday, they will travel to the premier of Frozen 2. Also, please look for some exciting news coming soon!
Kindergarten – Today they will celebrate each other with a “Friendsgiving” celebration!
