Principal’s Message
Happy New Year!
Welcome back to school, and Happy 2020! We hope that you had a wonderful holiday break with family and friends. This morning we started with mass, and Father Ismael reminded us that in celebration of Jesus’ birth, we need to remember to reach out to those in need, both far and near. It was wonderful to see everyone back at school and listen to all the adventures and many gifts they received and gave.
Our school site also received a gift this Christmas. We are thrilled to share the good news that we have begun our journey towards 1-to-1 device integration! We have purchased a combination of iPads and Chromebooks which we will begin to use in our classrooms next week. Please be sure to check in with your students to see how technology is being used in the classroom.
This week you will receive a current Scrip Report through December. Please know that your Scrip obligation is part of your contract. This report is current, and will allow you to plan how you will meet your obligations.
New Year’s Blessing
by Janet Rebhan
In this new year, may you have
a deep understanding of your true value and worth,
an absolute faith in your unlimited potential,
peace of mind in the midst of uncertainty,
the confidence to let go when you need to,
acceptance to replace your resistance,
gratitude to open your heart,
the strength to meet your challenges,
great love to replace your fear,
forgiveness and compassion for those who offend you,
clear sight to see your best and true path,
hope to dispel obscurity,
the conviction to make your dreams come true,
meaningful and rewarding synchronicities,
dear friends who truly know and love you,
a childlike trust in the benevolence of the universe,
the humility to remain teachable,
the wisdom to fully embrace your life exactly as it is,
the understanding that every soul has its own course to follow,
the discernment to recognize your own unique inner voice of truth,
and the courage to learn to be still.
