Falcon Newsletter 1-5-22
Welcome Back! It was so great to see all the students and teachers today talking about what they did over the Christmas break! A huge shout out and thank you to all of you who have helped to keep the Saint Francis of Assisi School community running smoothly. We are grateful for your commitment to keeping our students, faculty, and staff safe during the current Covid surge. Thank you to Mr. Pezel, Dr. Gaind, Dr. Sarti, Mrs. Chumo, and Mrs. Brown for helping conduct our on-campus covid testing yesterday. We are so blessed to have so many health care heroes among us!
As we transition through these next few weeks, we will continue to strive to make our campus safe for all.
  • Doors and windows will be open to keep ventilation moving throughout the classroom as well as air purifiers. With that being said, please be sure that your child/ren has a warm jacket to wear over their uniform sweatshirt.
  • Students will continue to wash their hands on a regular basis, especially after eating and playing outside.
  • Desks have been realigned, for the time being, to help ensure space between students,
  • Classrooms are cleaned nightly as well as being sanitized.
  • The CDC and Contra Costa County suggest the use of surgical masks or N95 instead of cloth; please make sure that your child/ren has extras with them.
  • Please continue to fill out the health app each morning. If your child/ren is not feeling well please keep them home from school and contact both the school office via email (clauer@csdo.org) as well as their homeroom teacher.
